Yes, on your first visit you can borrow a guest wristband. Otherwise you can buy a wristband or hire one if you’re booking an occasional swim.
That’s ok—book as a newcomer, and send us a screenshot of your medical ID wristband order to activities@watersedge.club before you arrive.
A towel, sliders/flip flops and loose warm layers. If the water’s below 15°C then you’ll need a woolly or silicone hat. Plus a tow float, which you can hire online when you book your swim.
Lots of layers for after the course (easy options like tracksuit bottoms), as well as two woolly hats -one to swim in and a spare in case the first one gets damp. Bring a towel and change robe—or two towels—plus socks and gloves. Obviously bring your swimsuit or trunks too, and a wetsuit if you’d prefer, although 90% go without. And make sure you’ve eaten before the session, and don’t drink alcohol the night before.
You can go into the lake via the roped entry in between the saunas, though only as deep as you can comfortably stand in the lake. If you’d like a swim you can book a separate session—to make sure all swimmers are checked in with the lifeguards.
You need to book each session individually so you can read and agree to the terms of booking which are specific to each session.
It’s important that each person taking part in the session makes the booking themselves, so they can read and agree to the terms of booking, which contain important information for that session.
